What is Silvertize NanoGreen Technology?
Silvertize NanoGreen Technology are based on silver nanoparticles (AgNPs), also known as colloidal silver, consists of small particles ranging in size from 1nm to 100nm (nanometers).
Scientists developed nanoparticles because they discovered silver's natural antigerm properties exponentially increase at this size, and they found that increasing the surface area of silver enhances its ability to control germs.
Typically, nanoparticles are produced chemically using pure silver salts. During the reaction process, metallic silver (Ag) is formed. At the nanoscale, these metal molecules are unstable and tend to clump together, reducing their antibacterial effectiveness. To prevent this, stabilizing agents are added during production to keep the nanoparticles separate.
